To authenticate to an online service, the user will choose the easiest available way (phone, toolbar…) depending on the circumstances (access from his own PC, remote access, mobile browsing, etc…). After the user has entered his secret PIN and several security checks have been performed, a < One-Time-Password > is generated by the authentication application. This OTP is then either filled-in automatically, or displayed to the user who will enter it in the service interface.
The application uses an authentication API (Web Service, Radius or SAML) provided by In-Webo to validate the < One-Time-Password > and grant access. If the user has activated his In-Webo Toolbar, the authentication feature is really integrated in the user workflow, providing a high level of security and comfort in the browsing, as the user is automatically connected to the service.

Using a web browser without In-Webo Toolbar (e.g. public PC), the authentication is done through the < nCode > phone application that generates a < One-Time-Password >. The user has to type it in the service interface.
Using a mobile app on a smartphone or a tablet, the In-Webo Library is integrated in the mobile app and provides high security with absolutely no requirements put on the end-user.
